Understanding Insurance Language Vs. Organization of an Insurer

 General objectives:
The course aims to enable the trainees to be able to identify the different types of insurance and their main characteristics, terminology inherent to the Insurance Activity, as well as to acquire knowledge about the institutional characterization and organization of the insurance activity, the insurance contract and the classification of insurance structure and the organizational structure of an insurer.

Specific objectives:
At the end of the course the trainees will be able to:
  • Recognize the main characteristics and the framework of the Insurance Activity;
  • Identify the different types of insurance and distinguish their basic characteristics;
  • Recognize the main elements of the Policy, Additional Minutes and Claims Participation;
  • Identify Risk Dispersion systems;
  • Recognize the legislation applicable to the insurance business in general
  • Know the solvency system for insurance companies
  • Identify market operators, whether associative or supervisory
  • Define insurance contract and identify the various types of insurance
  • Identify the directions, nuclei and services in an organizational structure of an insurance company
  • Carry out practical application cases.
