Insurance and Pension Funds
Insurance and Pension Funds Companies assume responsibilities for the payment of indemnifications and provisions that sometimes, only realize in long term, as happens, for instance, in Life Insurances. Therefore, in almost every country around the globe, exists the “Authorities of Insurance Supervision”, that supervise the skills of the insurance companies and manager entities of pension funds to assume and respect the commitments.
This course has the aim to endow trainees with the skills and knowledge that will allow them to understand the performance of Insurances and Pension Funds.
At the end of this course, trainees will be able to:
•Identify the concepts of the several types of insurances offered in the market;
•Specify the concept and function of the Pension Funds;
•Get to know the concept and performance of micro-pensions;
•Develop concepts and functions of the Insurance intermediaries;
•Define the systemic risk in the Insurance Industry and how to relieve it;
•Connect Insurances and new IT;
•Get to know the activities of Prudential and Behavioral Supervision.
