Organization of an Insurance Company
General objectives:
This course aims to equip participants with knowledge about the institutional characterization and organization of the insurance business, the insurance contract and the classification of insurance and the organizational structure of an insurance company.
Specific objectives:
At the end of this course participants are able to:
- Know the historical evolution of insurance and insurance activity
- Know the social and economic relevance of insurance
- Recognize the legislation applicable to the insurance business in general
- Know the solvency system for insurance companies
- Identify market operators, whether associative or supervisory
- Define insurance contract and identify the various types of insurance
- Identify the directions, nuclei and services in an organizational structure of an insurance company
