Authorized Economic Operator AEO - How to streamline Customs procedures
Customs procedures contribute to the expansion of supply periods, with the consequent influence on costs, particularly of stocks. Customs officers are concerned with the safety of the goods transported, with compliance with legal provisions, as well as with the protection of the means of transport and the surrounding society, due to the content of the volumes that pass through it. The AEO can be defined as a trusted operator throughout the European Community for customs operations. Consequently, it can enjoy advantages throughout the Community and in relations with other markets, notably the USA. AEO, is based on Community Regulation within the framework of the SAFE Framework of the World Customs Organization. Depending on the type of certificate they are applying for, companies can opt for the area of customs simplification, security and protection or a mixed certificate in the area of customs simplification / security and protection
The general objective of this course is to enable the participants with the knowledge necessary to obtain the AEO Statute.
