Management of Networks and Computer Systems


The objective of this course is to prepare professionals with technical skills in the areas of Analysis of Information Systems, Databases and additional skills in Operating Systems, Communication and Data Security.
The aim is, in particular:
• Provide participants with the necessary knowledge to enable them to set up and configure PCs and laptops, configure the various operating parameters of Windows;
• Present the technologies used in the implementation of Local Area Networks (LANs);
• Provide the necessary knowledge to install and configure different operating systems (Windows);
• Prepare IT professionals in network management using Windows Server;
• To communicate the concepts and tools necessary for the administration of users and resources;
• Provide participants with basic knowledge of security in the use of computer equipment with internet access;
• Learn how to protect your computer from these threats;
• Identify and detect faults
 
At the end of this course participants will be technically able to:
• Install, configure and service computers, networks, peripherals, operating systems and computer applications;
• Manage and manage the security of computer systems and data communication networks.

  Module I - Hardware and PCs (12 Hours)
• Hardware for computers and laptops;
• Input and Output Devices;
• Computer assembly and problem solving;
• Installation and configuration of the operating system;
• Network hardware and connectivity;
• Safety.
 
Module II - Networks and Communications (12 Hours)
• Introduction;
• Computer network;
• Understanding TCP / IP and Ethernet;
• Network equipment and types of wiring;
• Introduction to network services.
 
Module III - Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and Mac OS) (12 Hours)
• Windows:
o Install Windows;
o Configure network connectivity;
o Windows Tools;
o Configure access to folders / files and printers;
o Protect Windows.
 
Module IV - Windows Server (12 Hours)
• Introduction;
• Introduction to Active Directory Domain Services;
• Object management;
• Group Policy;
• Network troubleshooting;
• Management and troubleshooting of user profiles.
 
Module V - Fundamentals of Computer Security (12h)
Safety:
o Introduction;
Physical Security;
Protection.
 
• Web Security:
o Introduction;
o How to use the computer safely when browsing the internet.
 
• Software Security:
o Introduction;
Antivirus and AntiMalware;
o Firewall.
